Project 2: Luv Ur Neighbor
In the project, Lex’s artistic journey is deeply rooted in themes of unity, connection, and love, reflecting the shared human experience of community and belonging. As a newcomer to foreign soil three years ago, Lex initially struggled to find a sense of safety and home, until the warmth and care of the New Life Church—predominantly composed of an older generation—offered a place of belonging. This community demonstrated that home is not a physical space, but a collective commitment to nurturing one another.The interdependence Lex witnessed—people serving, learning from, and supporting one another—has left a lasting influence on their work. This project, which includes a series of clothing, tapestry, and website designs for Stussy (non-commercial), beautifully embodies the ethos of connection and compassion, exploring the idea that our purpose is found in the love we offer to those around us.
